When a Line Meets the Ocean

Pushkar is a very relax town with a picturesque lake and lush green mountains. We spent a long time relaxing and myself recovering from food poisoning (a monthly occurrence). The place we stayed was called Hotel Diamond, with a double room and ensuite costing only ₹300 per night. There were many temples to visit with a walk up Ratnagiri Hill which was a very steady step climb to the top. It has a great vantage view of the surrounding landscape and was perfect to watch the sunset. The view of the lake is lovely but when walking around the edge it was impossible to not be approached by locals trying to sell flowers to put in the water or asking for donations which kind of made the experience draining.
