We spent almost a week in Busan waiting for our sore muscles to heal before taking the ferry over to Fukuoka. There were several sights we visited, our favourite being Gamcheon Culture Village, a quirky colourful village set back on the costal foothills of Busan. We spent much of our time wondering through the alley ways and looking at murals and handicraft stores. The place had a really playful vibe about it and was nice to see so many innovative designs and artworks dotted around the place.
On our last night in South Korea we went to a small box bar which was very quaint and simple but they served alcohol with free snacks, as the drinking culture in South Korea was quite specific that the two came hand in hand. We met an interesting American guy who had wrote a book about his motorcycle journey through Laos which caught our attention as we were planning to visit.
